DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in the Linux Kernel, which can
be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service)
and potentially compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to boundary errors within the
"iriap_getvaluebyclass_indication()" function in net/irda/iriap.c,
which can be exploited to cause stack-based buffer overflows via
overly long names or attributes.
SOLUTION:
Do not use IrDA to interface with untrusted devices.
